SERIOUS problem with Domino after upgrading to 6.5 + changing hardware - SOLUTION FOUND

Platform: Windows 2000

After investigating the logs I found that a database running an agent always was active when the server stopped responding.

I tried to open the database but the connection timed out. I then deleted the database and build a new one. The problem no longer exists.
